SCOUT & GUIDE ACTIVITY

ANNUAL PLAN - 2008-09

INTRODUCTION

     To serve the nearby community and nature is one of motives of J.N.V. Our Vidyalaya has started Scout and Guide Activity since 2003. Our Scout and Guide students have been doing very good job to serve people, nature and also our vidyalaya.       

                                                                     

ACTIVITY

1.   PLANTATION:-Students of scout & guide will plant trees on the campus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya & make a good garden to be known  Rajiv Gandhi Udayan”.

2.   CLEANING DUTY: - Students of scout & guide will clean our vidhyalaya surrounding area & also the nearest village plains like hospital, bus stand, temple & other public places.

3.   WORLD AIDS DAY CELEBRATION:-Student of scout & guide will organize ‘AIDS RALLY’ on the world Aids Day.

4.   WATER & BREAKFAST SERVING:-Scout & guide students serve water, breakfast almost in every program which has been conducted in vidhyalaya.

5.   ROAD SAFETY WEEK:-Students of scout & guide will organize road safety week. On this occasion one police inspector of nearest police station will be invited to guide students about road safety week Besides this, essay writing competition,  drawing competitions,    will be conducted on this occasion.

6.   Scout & guide theory will be taught by scout Master in vidhyalaya.

7.         SCOUT DAY:-Vidyalaya will celebrate scout day on occasion of birth day of late Baden Powel, father of scout & guide                                                                                   

8.         SCOUT & GUIDE CAMP:-Other meaning of scout is an outing.             

Vidyalaya will organize a camp for scouts & guide every year so that  student will know about nature. Camp will be organized and various activities   will be carried out. Students will  get  trutiya sopan certificate, governor’s certificate & president’s certificates.

In this academic year 2008-09 ,Scout Incharge will conduct the above said activities.

9.   Sopan examinations will be conducted with the consultation of district scout

commissioner.
